Brahms Symphony No. 1 in C Minor
Concerto after Glière by David Canfield is a colorful tour de force dedicated to world famous master saxophonist Eugene Rousseau, Professor of Music at the IU Jacobs School of Music for 36 years. This beautiful and melodic work will be performed by Rousseau's protégé, virtuoso saxophonist Kenneth Tse. When Brahms wrote his First Symphony, he was already at the height of his creative powers.
