2008 Brown Instrumental Scholarship winner, Elaine MacAslan opens the evening with Shostakovich's Concerto No. 2 in F major for Piano and Orchestra.
For a very special "discovery " Véronique Mathieu, the Philharmonic's new Concertmaster (2008-09 season) is featured in Mozart's Concerto No. 5 for Violin and Orchestra.
Adding to the evening's excitment, Tasha Warren, the Philharmonic's Principal Clarinet, is flying back from Louisiana to perform Mozart's Concerto in A major for Clarinet and Orchestra.
Talented Philharmonic Principals, Min Kyun Kim (Principal Guest Concertmaster), Vanessa Edwards, Sarah McKelvie and Todd Lockwood are featured in Mozart's Serenade No. 6.
