ABOUT THE ARTIST

Mary Claire King is a proud Columbus, Indiana native who has been working on Broadway for the past seven years. Mary Claire is currently in Chicago the Musical on Broadway, where she understudies both leading ladies Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart. Her likeness can be found throughout Times Square marketing for the show, including a big screen, a billboard, and of course, on New York City trash cans! Earlier this year, Mary Claire was a part of the Broadway-bound production Gun & Powder at the esteemed Paper Mill Playhouse. The production is expected to transfer to Broadway this coming spring. Other Broadway credits include the original company of War Paint, starring Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole, and Lincoln Center’s My Fair Lady. Additional credits: Darin (Alex Timbers), Crazy For You (Susan Stroman), Half Time (Jerry Mitchell), the Tirst national tour of Catch Me If You Can, and various regional theatre work across the country. She has also done commercial work for larger brands like Victoria’s Secret and Hers. While not performing, Mary Claire spends her time styling photoshoots with her company, Ask Your Sister, and taking long walks in New York’s Riverside Park. Mary Claire was last seen performing in conjunction with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic in 2021, with her sold out cabaret, Always Been a Rainbow. As they say, there’s no place like it — and she couldn’t be more thrilled to be back to perform for her Hoosiers. www.maryclaireking.com @murrclurr @askyoursister.nyc
